Valve bodies for drinking water filtration
AGRODUR valve bodies are characterised by high precision and resilience. Thanks to its drinking water approval, it can be found in numerous applications in drinking water systems. The complex geometries of the housings include up to five threads that run in different demoulding directions. Manufactured in a fully automated process, our housings offer a perfect combination of robustness, flexibility and efficiency to fulfil the technical requirements of our customers.
IGBT housings
Our IGBT housings, used to control the power currents of electrical systems and motors, are manufactured in accordance with the UL-94 test procedure and are classified as V0, thus offering maximum safety against flame propagation. With the highest possible degree of automation, two metal inserts are overmoulded for these hybrid enclosures and shipped ready for dispatch in special ESD packaging directly from our production cell. A 100 % EOL test ensures compliance with our strict quality standards.
Thermostat housing
Our thermostat housings as components for engine cooling systems are made from glass fibre-reinforced high-performance thermoplastics and are hydrolysis-resistant. Various quick connectors and hose connectors in different demoulding directions are produced using highly complex tool geometries and mechanisms. The assembly of seals and clamping sleeves enhances our products and promises efficient further processing by our customers.
Air suspension and chassis components
AGRODUR air suspension components, specially developed to meet the highest demands of the automotive industry and significantly increase the driving dynamics of mid-range and luxury vehicles, can even be found in Formula 1.Our expertise begins with the co-development of the aluminium and steel components, which are overmoulded in our fully automated production process.The process-integrated DMC marking and in-process inspection using 3D visualisation guarantee the highest quality and reliability.
Housing insert for water taps
Thanks to their drinking water approval, high-quality AGRODUR housing inserts are installed in numerous water fittings.Manufactured from abrasive high-performance thermoplastics, they pose a major challenge for processes and injection moulding tools.Demanding flatness tolerances and tightness requirements round off the requirements profile, which we successfully master with our many years of expertise. In-process torque testing guarantees the highest quality and robustness.
Thermoset circuit breaker enclosure
Our miniature circuit breakers made of high-quality thermoset are manufactured using an advanced moulding process and eleven tool sets.They guarantee maximum precision and reliability to enable exact switching operations and ensure a long service life.The thermoset material used is characterised by its outstanding resistance and high flame retardancy, thus promising maximum safety in use. In addition, the material’s high tracking resistance ensures reliable operation even under demanding conditions.
